The
Kent Architectural Students Association (KASA) is THE officially sanctioned Kent School of Architecture (KSA), student organisation. We are a growing and developing organisation established to promote all aspects of spatial design, whether
interior or exterior, ‘
for the students, by the students!’
KASA was established in 2005, and in previous years we have organised a KASA lecture series featuring notable visiting speakers such as Will Alsop, Piers Gough, and partners from Fielden Clegg Bradley, Grimshaw and RSHP. In addition to this, we have raised sponsorship, organised socials, and intiated many other significant activities.
This year we hope to build upon the success of our predecessors and provide a more diverse lecture series that will cover many topics across architecture, as well as graphic design, product design, and art.
We hope you will want to get involved; the strength of the organisation depends each year on the energy of a new generation of students. This blog is where lectures and general events will be announced, as well as other significant events within KASA such as design competitions. It is for all members of KASA, and should be used for a free exchange of ideas, inspiration and news, architectural or not. So contribute! Help make KASA a continuing and growing success in 2009-2010!
